The end of the Polish Sukhoi Su-22 is certain

The Polish Air Force has been flying the Sukhoi Su-22 for 40 years.
Now it is definite: the anniversary year will also be the last of the famous fitters.

March 25, 2024

The Polish Air Force currently has twelve single-seaters and six double-seaters.

How long they would continue to fly was a mystery for a long time.
Now the inspector of the Siły Powietrzne Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej has shed light on the matter.

In an interview, Major General Ireneusz Nowak confirmed that the Su-22 will definitely be decommissioned by the end of this year. This means that the former Soviet model will not be able to be used until 2025. The successor in the form of the FA-50 is already in the starting blocks. The first 24 pilots have already been selected. They are traveling to South Korea this year for retraining.

While the air base was being renovated, the fitters moved to Miroslawiec. This is where they will end their careers after four decades.

In a recent interview, Brig. Gen. Pil. Ireneusz Nowak,
the Deputy Inspector of the Air Force in the General Command of the Polish Armed Forces,
declared that Poland aims to retire
its ageing Su-22 fighter bombers by the end of 2024
and its MiG-29 fighter jets by the end of 2026.

Anybody know the current situation in Poland about spotting "in the wild?!" As well as the possibilities at the SU-22 and MiG29 bases?

Should still be allowed? I've seen pictures on social media of Polish spotters just doing what they've been doing for years which is being at the fence and photographing
